MATERIAL HIGHLIGHTS

Our Own Bins: Sixteen empty stainless produce bins were originally purchased at a garage sale for $1 each in the neighborhood (1999). Their first art installation was in 2000, the “Chiaro Escuro” show on Alberta in the old power station… a show by artists Joya & Linda & Sonja. They’ve come off the walls and were again re-purposed for the Portland Winter Light Festival.

Love is Love Flag: Kate O'Halloran donated specifically for the show from her heart. We are LBGTQ proud and have collected rainbow items in this space.

The Wooden Reindeer, fondly named Rain was found legless and headfirst in a garbage can screaming for new life and legs. He now keeps an eye on the section.
