MATERIAL HIGHLIGHTS

Radio Flyer was rescued from a recycling pile. Masses of people buy plastic toys instead of buying quality metal toys. It’s a sad state of affairs. Mother Earth is literally and figuratively dying due to plastic overuse… but this rusting friend is still among us.

The Tower of Toys: From the base we started with plastic. At the top of the tower are the metal cars, still able to be played with decades and decades after they were made. The cars were found at garage sales, thrift stores and some were donated by Annie Haul.

The Old School Desk: It was abandoned on the side of the road in Canby, Oregon and brought home by the artist.
